Flight Number: SQ671
Aircraft: B787-10
Nagoya Chubu Centrair - Singapore Changi
Ticket Purchase / Redemption
I paid 312,000 KrisFlyer miles + SGD 303 back in December 2024 (10 months before the actual flight) for the return redemption booking on Singapore Airlines for 3 people.
Little A's ticket cost SGD325, which had to be booked separately by calling SQ hotline.
There is only one flight out of Singapore to Nagoya and vice versa.

Note that KrisFlyer redemptions have increased since 1st November so the above screenshot reflects the latest rates. What is "Access" you might ask? I wouldn't bother explaining and you should not be exploring it at all.
All flight options are on the B787-10 aircraft which meant the 2018RJ business seat type, which is also my favourite among the 5 types that Singapore Airlines carry.

Check In
Upon our arrival at Nagoya Chubu Centrair Terminal 1, we noticed several economy self check-in counters in row I and J that catered to multiple airlines. However, business class passengers and Star Alliance Gold members have their own dedicated check-in area at row G.
There wasn't much of a queue and we were done within 5 minutes.

Lounge
Once you clear immigration, the lounge is just a short walk away. You'll need to take an elevator down to reach it, as I didn't see any nearby stairs. The airport has a limited number of lounges, so most business class passengers from various airlines use the Plaza Premium Lounge, which is also accessible to Dragonpass and Priority Pass members.

When I checked into the lounge, I was given an 'exclusive drink voucher,' but I wasn't certain about where or how to use it. Due to my limited time in the lounge, I didn't have the opportunity to ask anyone for clarification.
The food selection was quite disappointing! They offered Japanese curry rice and udon (available either hot or cold), but the buffet options were very limited. Sadly I would have to rate the lounge as one of my least favourable ones among all that I've visited.
One positive aspect was that nearly all the seats are positioned by the windows, offering excellent views of the nearby gates. When we visited, our Singapore Airlines plane was already parked at the gate right next to the lounge.

Seats
All flights on the SIN - NGO - SIN route are on Boeing 787-10 aircrafts, which mean the 2018RJ seats!
The seats are in a 1-2-1 configuration. Take note that the middle "D" and "F" seats alternate in each row from a "couple" to "single" seat. I like this configuration because the divider in the middle can be lowered and it doesn't cause a backache having to tend to your little one in the next seat.

Flight Experience
Bassinet Call Out: The only infant seats are in seats 11A and 11K with the bassinet diagonally across you. We were seated on 11D, 11F & 11K as it easier for the parent sitting on 11K to move across the aisle with access to both 11D & 11F seats. Little A can chill with either parent on 11F or 11K.

There is no Book the Cook option on this route. There were 4 dining options - a local chicken mushroom rice, two western options (Beef or Salmon fillet) & the Japanese Hanakoireki that is unique to Japan outbound flights.
Little D and Mummy enjoyed the chicken mushroom rice, which was quite tasty and suitable for children, while I opted for the beef fillet. An infant meal was also available. And of course, the chicken satay was served soon after takeoff as well.
The flight attendant provided us with four of the new black Le Labo amenity kits, children's headsets, and SQ SG60 bears for Little D and Little A.
This was Little A's last flight as an 'infant' as she was turning two in a couple of days. Hence I requested for a birthday cake a few days before the flight via the Live Chat on the SQ app and they gladly agreed.
